Dear Friends,

I am extremely pleased to announce that Rev. Lauren Spivey Levwood has been promoted to the position of UUMFE’s Executive Director after a stellar past year of service as our Acting Director.

As many of you know, Lauren’s commitment to UUMFE runs deep. For many years, she volunteered countless hours as a UUMFE Board member, including as a chair, before stepping into staff leadership. Throughout it all, her service to UUMFE and the environment has shined with creativity, joy, and a loving pastoral touch.

This past year has been one of renewal for us, and under Lauren’s touch, numerous programs have come alive and flourished. As a result, our community has been strengthened and our future feels bright.
