Does your state and\/or locality have such a plan? Google it if you\u2019re not sure.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the chapter \u201cA Green New Deal,\u201d (pgs 283-201), Ayana Johnson interviews Professor Rhiana Gunn-Wright. How familiar are you with the Green New Deal, first proposed before Congress in 2019? <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sierraclub.org\/trade\/what-green-new-deal\">Check out this link from the Sierra Club<\/a> for a short-course on what\u2019s behind the idea of a Green New Deal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under the listing of \u201cWhat Would a Green New Deal Achieve?,\u201d what particularly takes priority for you?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the chapter \u201cA Blue New Deal,\u201d Ayana details her five-year, 24-step quest to focus policy changes on our oceans. She concludes with the news that a \u201cAmerican Climate Corps\u201d was created in 2023 and recruiting young people for the ACC had begun. Sadly, President Donald Trump cancelled the program on January 20, 2026, by Executive Order. If you had exerted the enormous effort that Ayana did, how would you keep from getting discouraged?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The final chapter, \u201cSee You in Court,\u201d can feel discouraging because of the changed legal environment of the current Administration.&nbsp; If you could write one climate law, what would it include?
