Kelly Dignan"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dear UU Ministry for Earth Community,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As my tenure as Executive Director comes to a close at the end of this month, I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude and reflect on the incredible journey we&#8217;ve shared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the past two years, it has been my honor and privilege to serve UUMFE and work alongside a dedicated and passionate community. Just a few of our key accomplishments include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Co-facilitating the planning team for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uuclimatejustice.org\/\">Climate Justice Revival<\/a> and creating the Revival worship materials &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1Fn7WflAoZe5VryaoMosCAoKudQQrF3AA\/view\">here\u2019s a great summary video<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Securing $39,000 in grants from the <a href=\"http:\/\/uua.org\/uuagovernance\/committees\/fuusr\">UU Fund for Social Responsibility<\/a> to support the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uumfe.org\/2024\/06\/10\/what-is-the-uu-climate-justice-coalition\/\">Climate Justice Coalition<\/a> &#8211; a group of ten UU organizations collaborating for climate justice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Launching a curriculum for climate grief<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Developing more than <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uumfe.org\/worship-resources-2\/climate-justice-worship-resources\/\">20 worship service and small group ministry guides<\/a> focused on climate justice and seasonal celebrations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Advocating for a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uumfe.org\/2023\/09\/06\/five-questions-climate-justice-the-us-2023-federal-farm-bill\/\">climate smart Farm Bill<\/a> in Washington DC with our partners <a href=\"https:\/\/uusj.net\/wp1\/\">UUSJ<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/uujec.net\/\">UUJEC<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These achievements would not have been possible without the unwavering support and hard work of our staff, board members, donors, and partners. Your commitment to our mission has been inspiring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As I prepare to pass the torch, I am confident that UUMFE will continue to thrive and grow.
