See:<a href=\"http:\/\/www.uumfe.org\"> www.uumfe.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uumfe.org\/about\/our-history\/\">And you can see our history, past newsletters and annual reports here.&nbsp;<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Role Description<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Communications Contractor has the following responsibilities:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Collect news from designated partners and UUMFE Executive Director, write and send newsletter twice per month<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Online event marketing and support (about 4 events per year)\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sets up Zoom meetings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create calendar entry for website<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create webpage and slider<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create graphic in Canva<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Design social media plan&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Include events in newsletters<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide AV support for the actual events<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Interact with graphic designer when necessary\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Graphic designer has created a brand book and is available one hour per week if necessary<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make website edits using WordPress\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>(We have a WordPress designer who handles complicated updates)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Social media\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Create graphics in Canva using the brand book guidelines&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Daily social media posts, monitoring and replies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Edit videos of program or marketing content<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage and update CRM database including entering contact information, removing duplicates, recording donations, and generating reports<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Respond to emails<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support all communication related to fundraising including emails and mailings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Thank you notes to funders<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Administrative support for Executive Director<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Skills <\/strong>(May be met as a result of lived experience, volunteer work, professional experience, and\/or formal or informal training)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Extremely strong organizational skills and attention to detail<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to work collaboratively and show initiative<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent written, verbal, and online communication skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Commitment to Unitarian Universalist principles of justice, equity and compassion<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Flexibility&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Friendly and diplomatic with constituents<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sense of humor&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Technology:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>MS Office<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Google Workspace<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Zoom&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Project task management systems like Trello, Asana, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Website editing platforms like WordPress<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Canva or a similar tool for graphics creation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Facebook, Instagram<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Video editing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Send a resume and cover letter \u2014indicating \u201cComms Contractor\u201d in the subject line\u2014to our Executive Director, Rev.
