She completed her bachelor\u2019s degree in World Literature and Sociology at Truman State University in 2017. She is graduating from Naropa University in May 2026 with a Master\u2019s in Divinity with emphasis in Mindfulness Coaching. Lauren Spivey Levwood<\/div>\n    <div class=\"title\"><strong><em>Executive Director, UU Ministry for Earth<\/em><\/strong><\/div>\n  <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-container-content-4c4b6c15\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Rev. Lauren Spivey Levwood<\/span><\/strong>, Acting Director of UU Ministry for Earth, is a long-time member of the UU Ministry for Earth community. She also serves as a part-time Minister for two UU congregations in the beautiful western Virginia mountains: the UU Church of the Shenandoah Valley and the UU\u2019s of the Blue Ridge. Rev. Levwood\u2019s vocational life has included working as a massage therapist, birth and postpartum doula, Birthing From Within childbirth mentor, modern dancer, and trauma-informed somatics practitioner. A religious naturalist, she is spiritually nourished by embodied experiences of awe and wonder arising from our natural world.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-default\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-grid wp-container-core-group-is-layout-6be84c55 wp-block-group-is-layout-grid\"><div class=\"board-member\">\n  <div class=\"photo\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.uumfe.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/0C2A2162_Original-1-1.jpg\"><\/div>\n  <div class=\"details\">\n    <div class=\"name\">Li Kynvi<\/div>\n    <div class=\"title\"><strong><em>Chaplain &amp; Music Therapist<\/em><\/strong><\/div>\n  <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-container-content-4c4b6c15\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Li Kynvi<\/span><\/strong> is currently a Massachusetts-based chaplain, music therapist, and mental health counselor in hospice and pediatric palliative care. In 2024, they received their MDiv from Starr King School for the Ministry, and have been enthusiastically singing with others &amp; celebrating the solstices since 1990.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-default\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-grid wp-container-core-group-is-layout-6be84c55 wp-block-group-is-layout-grid\"><div class=\"board-member\">\n  <div class=\"photo\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.uumfe.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/Karyn.png\"><\/div>\n  <div class=\"details\">\n    <div class=\"name\">Rev. Karyn Marsh<\/div>\n    <div class=\"title\"><strong><em>Board Secretary, UU Ministry for Earth<\/em><\/strong><\/div>\n  <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-container-content-231de088\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Rev. Karyn Bergmann Marsh<\/span><\/strong>, UUMFE Board Secretary, has been serving Earth in various capacities her entire adult life, first as an environmental geologist, then as an environmental attorney, and now as a Unitarian Universalist minister and board-certified chaplain. Currently, Rev. Marsh is the developmental minister for First Unitarian Church of Baltimore. Prior to serving First Unitarian, Rev. Marsh was a chaplain at several hospitals in Baltimore, MD. She received her Master of Divinity degree from Starr King School for the Ministry, her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Maryland, her Master of Business Administration degree from Villanova University, and her Bachelor of Science degree from the Pennsylvania State University. Prior to answering the call of ministry, Rev. Marsh was a lay leader of Towson Unitarian Universalist Church, which included being a board trustee for four years and a member of the Green Sanctuary Team. Rev. Marsh is delighted to bring her various experiences and expertise to UUMFE.<br><br><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-default\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-grid wp-container-core-group-is-layout-6be84c55 wp-block-group-is-layout-grid\"><div class=\"board-member\">\n  <div class=\"photo\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.uumfe.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Jessica.png\"><\/div>\n  <div class=\"details\">\n    <div class=\"name\">Jessica Cloud<\/div>\n    <div class=\"title\"><strong><em>Fundraising Consultant, UU Ministry for Earth<\/em><\/strong><\/div>\n  <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-container-content-d45f1063\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Jessica Cloud<\/span><\/strong>, UUMFE&#8217;s fundraising consultant, partners with mission-driven organizations to grow generosity, deepen relationships, and build confident, capable fundraising teams. During her time at Starr King School for the Ministry, she led a decade of expansion in giving that more than doubled overall fundraising totals, with significant growth in unrestricted support. As the founder of Real Deal Fundraising,&nbsp;Jessica&nbsp;is known for her candid, practical approach. Outside of her work, she writes poetry, enjoys documentaries, and spends time traveling with her husband and two children. She is a longtime member of Our Home Universalist Unitarian Church in Ellisville, MS and a current member of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Columbia, SC.
