Unitarian Universalist Ministry for Earth (UUMFE) was established to propel the 7th Principle, “Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part.” Our primary purpose is to inspire, facilitate, and support the denomination, congregations, and individuals in honoring and sustaining the Earth and its beings.

Earth Day is an ideal time to celebrate the importance our faith places on our planet and all its inhabitants. On Earth Day we celebrate the planet, the environment, wildlife, and all humanity. We believe that the solutions to climate change and environmental justice lies with the work of frontline communities, our members and congregations are at the frontlines.

We are asking you and your congregation to contribute to the work of UUMFE by taking up a collection on Earth Day. Below is a program sheet you can use to inform your congregation about UUMFE.
