Calling all UU Young Adults! Be part of the next wave of leadership for the growing Young Adults for Climate Justice Network! Learn more about the Network Roles open to Young Adults (ages 18-35), and the selection process, which will use sociocracy. Any UU Young Adult (ages ~18-35) can be part of nominating (including self-nomination) and/or affirming incoming leadership for several roles to start July 1.

Young Adults can use this form to nominate yourself or others for leadership roles in the UU Young Adults for Climate Justice Network. Please only use this form if you cannot attend the selection call on Monday, June 21 at 8am PT / 11 ET. MORE INFO about the roles and process:
For now, these roles are open to Young Adults.
Time commitment: ~12 months. Stipend TBD. Participate in the Create Climate Justice - Vision & Leadership Cohort as representatives and leaders of the UUYACJ; facilitate strategic dialogues for UUYACJ members and UUYACJ-led dialogues for the full UU climate justice constituency as a part of this process (described in more detail below) Collaborate with leadership team to grow the network
Time commitment: 6-12 months, up to 20 hours/month. Stipend or hourly wage to be negotiated. Coordinate network programs such as worships, book club, political education, trainings, discussion: may include logistical support, facilitation, program creation Manage internal and external network communications as needed: such as social media, email newsletters, network blog posts on UUMFE website Collaborate with leadership team to grow the network, including close collaboration with Communications and Logistics Coordinator

Amelia Diehl is the Network Coordinator for the UU Young Adults for Climate Justice Network, and a Communications Specialist for UU Ministry for Earth. She's been with UUMFE since 2015 and is based in Chicago and the Great Lakes region. Her other movement homes include Rising Tide Chicago, SustainUS and freelance writing.
