TAKE ACTION: UUMFE, UUA Endorse THRIVE Agenda
The UUA and UU Ministry for Earth joined over 250 climate, labor and social justice organizations in endorsing the THRIVE Agenda, a transformative plan to address the interrelated crises of a global pandemic, racism, mass unemployment and climate change by investing in a just renewal. THRIVE, which stands for Transform, Heal, and Renew by Investing in a Vibrant Economy, lays out eight pillars to put millions of people back to work, building a more just, healthy, and equitable society. The THRIVE Agenda, which was created by the Green New Deal Network, a 50-state campaign with a table of 15 organizations, was introduced as a Congressional Resolution in September 2020.
