In mid-December, activists—including many UUs—held eight days of action to block construction of a new liquefied natural gas export terminal at the Port of Tacoma in solidarity with the Puyallup Tribe, which is leading a campaign to protect their lands and waters. Yesterday, climate activists rallied on the lawn of the Washington state capital and disrupted its first session, in a campaign for 60 days of climate action.
