Every year, Texas Environmental Justice Advocacy Services (t.e.j.a.s.) partners with community members to for an annual “Fence-Line Holiday Toy Drive” to give new and gently used toys to families in Manchester, a predominantly Hispanic community in Houston’s East End that suffers from unconscionable levels of environmental toxins.
