November 2017:  Letter to U.S. Congress in in support of the bipartisan RECLAIM Act of 2017 (H.R. 1731).  The House version of the RECLAIM Act will ensure coal communities can access the Abandoned Mine Land Fund (currently at ~$1 billion) for the next five years. These communities will be allowed to use this money to employ local workers for mine reclamation as well as foster new economic opportunities as we move away from the fossil fuel economy. The letter is in partnership with Creation Justice Ministries and many other organizations.
