Two More Ways To Get Environmental Justice News

(September 30, 2009)
We are very excited to introduce Rowan Van Ness, our Program Associate for Environmental Justice, a position created through a partnership between the Unitarian Universalist Ministry for Earth and the UUA. And she's jumping into action, with climate change/clean energy legislation at stake in the Senate. To learn more about Rowan, see her introductory blog post. On her first post she introduces herself and explains some of the projects she’ll be working on. Read Rowan's blog at http://uuasocialjustice.blogspot.com/2009/09/new-voice-of-environmental-...

For the latest news on ongoing action campaigns on environmental justice, visit the Social Justice Action Center on the UUA website http://www.uua.org/socialjustice/actioncenter/index.shtml . While you’re on that page, subscribe to our advocacy news list to subscribe to a weekly e-update on EJ issues.

The UUA Environmental Justice News is a collaborative effort between UU Ministry for the Earth, UU Service Committee, UUA's Green Sanctuary program, and UUA's Washington Office for Advocacy. These are the groups that brought you the EJ Passport Collaborative Project at General Assembly 2009.
