A Call To Action for Ethical Eating and Food Justice

40th Anniversary of Earth Day – A Call To Action for Ethical Eating and Food Justice

What we eat influences the planet in a number of ways, and as a result, we can look at a number of ways we can make our food choices ethical. Food and faith have a long tradition of connection, and we invite you to consider how your faith can inform your food choices.

When planning your Earth Day events and worship services, think about how you want to share them beyond the walls of your church. Maybe you will inspire other people to make intentional decisions around the food they are putting in their own bodies and that are being provided in your community. We want to share your stories as well. Please see the Engaging Your Community section for more information.

We hope these resources provide plenty of food for thought and action for your food justice activities on Earth Day and beyond.

Plan. Register. Act. Share.
